The Tides Never Tire
“The tides never tire, but I do.”
This line from my song, “Seaweed Ocean,” is what inspired the title of my new album. The constancy of the tides can be comforting. They are reliable like the phases of the moon or the sun rising and setting each day. However, humans can’t be so reliable; sometimes we are overwhelmed by the constant motion of our universe, and we must rest and reflect.
This album is a tribute to the tiring lessons life brings forth, lessons we must often repeat. It is about the resiliency of the human spirit and the blessings that come out of these lessons. You can’t have flowers without the rain.
